Lost on the Beach

Teddy is left alone on the beach while Lily and Mum go to buy an ice cream. An inquisitve puppy comes along, drags Teddy along the beach and abandons him. He has fun splashing around in rock pools for a while, but then the tide starts coming in. With a little help from a passing seagull, and several ingenious ideas of his own, Teddy eventually makes it safely back to the beach. This enjoyable story is accompanied by Ian Beck's atmospheric and charmingly old-fashioned illustrations.
